How we use the details you give us. Last updated 31 October 2026.

Who we are

AB Plumbing & Property Services is a trading name of AB Building & Renovations Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company no. 16218091. Registered office: Nidus House, 16 Abbey Street, Cambridge. We decide how your details are used, so we are the data controller.

What we collect

  • Your name, phone number, email address and postcode.
  • Details of the job, the prices you saw in our instant price tool and any photos you send.
  • Messages you send us by phone, WhatsApp or email.
  • If we do work for you: your address, access details such as key-safe codes, and invoices and payments.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and give you a price. This is a step you asked us to take before a contract.
  • To book and carry out the work, and to invoice you. This is needed for our contract with you.
  • To keep accounts and tax records. This is a legal obligation.
  • To send an itemised report to your insurer or agent, when you ask us to.

We do not sell your details, and we do not send you marketing.

Who we share it with

  • Netlify, which hosts this website and receives our forms.
  • Google, which runs our email.
  • WhatsApp, if you message us there.
  • Our accountant, and your insurer, landlord or letting agent where the job needs it.

Netlify and Google may store data outside the UK. When they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy rules or the standard contract clauses approved for UK data.

How long we keep it

If an enquiry does not turn into a job, we delete it within 12 months. If we do work for you, we keep the job and invoice records for 6 years after the end of the financial year, as tax law requires.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies, tracking or advertising tools. Our fonts are stored on our own site, so loading a page does not send your details to anyone else.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, or limit how we use them. Email info@ab-plumbingandproperty.co.uk and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
